  • Reconsidering The General Valuation and Revaluation as of 1.1. 1980 of all properties of the country.
  • Building a new approach for the payment of compensation in an attempt to increase the time allocated for the valuation and transfer the work of payments to the accounting sector. 
  • Quality control of the data used and produced.
  • Continuation of the fiscal data capture all over the country.
  • Wider personnel training .
  • Carry out statistical analysis, in order to produce several valuation parameters to be used for mass appraisal or for general use.
  • Development of new programs and products of the fiscal subsystem to upgrade and enhance the public service.
  • Broader cooperation between the Valuation Branch and other governmental services for the exchange of data countrywide.
  • Effort to introduce and eventually use the geographical systems on the daily work of the valuer.
  • Effort to introduce and eventually use digital photo cameras on the daily work of the valuer as well as introduce the corresponding software.
  • Introduction of the electronic mail, the webpage on the internet and the development of service provision through the internet.
  • An effort to introduce palm computers in combination with the Global Positioning System (GPS) for specific tasks.
  • ​Preparation of the Property Price Index in collaboration with the Central Bank of Cyprus and the Statistical Department.
