The Theme and Variable Cartography Section undertakes the following tasks:

• Processing and preparation of theme maps using electronic methodology (road, cadastral, ad-hoc maps).
• Handling various cases, including the preparation of legal and technical plans, maps, and descriptions.
• Updating the geographical level of the town planning zones, in the geographical subsystem (DIMS).
• Updating the geographical levels of postal sectors and the boundaries of the Sewerage Boards.
• Preparation of cartographic background, in order to support other branches of the Department or other services.
