The registration of a MEMO may be prolonged by a Court order for a further period not exceeding ten years each time. The notice for the renewal of the order is submitted to the competent District Lands Office where the related MEMO is registered by or on behalf of the judgment creditor, and not later than the date should an order have been issued, the MEMO would not be valid anymore. In the case where only notice is submitted, a time limit of fourteen days from the day mentioned above is given to submit the relevant renewal order.
