REGISTRATION OF JOINTLY-OWNED BUILDING
Who it concerns:
Where a building permit for a building was granted after 12.02.1993 and the building consists of at least
five units, it is considered by law as “jointly owned” and shall be registered as such upon registration of
the units. Nevertheless, where a building permit was granted before 12.02.1993, the building may be
registered as jointly owned upon an application filed by any of the owners of the units or by the building’s
management committee. The application shall be made on the application form. The applicant may
also request the registration of the area of each of the units and of this share to the jointly-owned
property on the same form.
Required Documents / Conditions / Samples:
- Application Form
- For a building consisting of 2-4 units, the application must be filed by the owners having at least fifty per cent(50%) of the jointly-owned building or by the owners of at least two (2) units.
- For a building consisting of at least five (5) units, the application may be filed by at least one of the owners of such units.
- List of the owners of all units stating their postal addresses and contact number. Photocopies of both sides of their identity cards or passports/ARC (for foreigners) or search certificate should be attached thereto
- Σε περίπτωση που η αίτηση υποβληθεί από Πληρεξούσιο Αντιπρόσωπο είτε με Γενικό Πληρεξούσιο με χρέωση €50,00 για την κατάθεση, είτε με Ειδικό Πληρεξούσιο χωρίς καμία χρέωση, τότε η υπογραφή στο έγγραφο θα πρέπει να είναι δεόντως πιστοποιημένη. Η χαρτοσήμανση του πληρεξουσίου είναι απαραίτητη μόνο στην περίπτωση που αυτό έχει υπογραφεί έστω από έναν πληρεξουσιοδότη πριν από την 1.1.2026.
