REGISTRATION OF PERSONAL EASEMENT/LIFE INTEREST

Who it concerns:
All involved parties should agree for an easement to be granted. The intention to grant should be submitted in writing and the document should clearly and fully describe the easement granted.
Required Documents / Conditions / Samples:
The documents signed by the applicants must bear a signature certification.
  • Application Form (duly signed by the beneficiary/beneficiaries of the easement)
  • Form Δ.Ε.306 (duly signed by the registered owner(s))
  • Consent in writing from the mortgagors (if the property is mortgaged or from any person having an interest in the property, i.e. SLC, MEMO, Interim Order)
  • Photocopy of both sides of the identity card or passport / ARC (Foreigners).
  • Reference should be made to the Postal Address and Contact Telephone number(s)
  • Let be noted that: -In the form of occupancy of a share of the property and where an Agreement of Partition has not been filed, then the application is accepted ONLY if sectional views of the affected dwelling-house are produced, signed by ALL owners of the property, together with a consent in writing of the co-owners of the share not to be affected by the grant of easement, stating that they have no objection to such grant. Their signatures thereon should be certified by the President of the Community or a Certifying Officer, unless they appear before the Land Officer accepting the application.
    - If it concerns only one (1) dwelling-house on the property, then for recording of the right of occupancy, all co-owners must necessarily sign.
  • Σε περίπτωση που η αίτηση υποβληθεί από Πληρεξούσιο Αντιπρόσωπο είτε με Γενικό Πληρεξούσιο με χρέωση €50,00 για την κατάθεση, είτε με Ειδικό Πληρεξούσιο χωρίς καμία χρέωση, τότε η υπογραφή στο έγγραφο θα πρέπει να είναι δεόντως πιστοποιημένη. Η χαρτοσήμανση του πληρεξουσίου είναι απαραίτητη μόνο στην περίπτωση που αυτό έχει υπογραφεί έστω από έναν πληρεξουσιοδότη πριν από την 1.1.2026.

Fees / Charges:
FEES
a) €10.00 For acceptance of the application
b) €5.00 for each Title Deed for each owner
c) €10.00for the recording of an easement for each property
d) In case of other than 3rd degree of kindred, the valuation fees are levied based on the following:

- From parent to child:
No fees

- Between relatives up to third degree of kindred and between husband and wife:
2013 estimated value ÷ 10.000 × 10%

- Other than 3rd degree of kindred or non-relatives:
Estimated Amount by the Valuation Branch
  • ×3% (From €1 - €85.000)*
  • × 5% (From €85.001 - €170.000)*
  • × 8% (Above €170.001)*
* Any resulting amount is divided by ÷2
