AMALGAMATION OF PROPERTIES INTO ONE CERTIFICATE
Who it concerns:
Amalgamation of properties is possible where the properties are contiguous and no pathway, stream, channel
or any other plot is inserted between them; are owned by the same person(s) having the same shares; and
have the same encumbrances.
Required Documents / Conditions / Samples:
The documents signed by the applicants must bear a signature certification.
In cases of amalgamation of adjacent registered plots, the application shall be accepted, assessed by an Officer of the Department and processed once the views of the Town Planning Authority have been obtained as to whether the requested amalgamation requires a Town Planning Permit.
- Application Form (signed by all registered owners or by all Directors, stamped with the seal of the Company, or by a Proxy)
- Authorisation by the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber ΕΤΕΚ (Where there is a Private Surveyor)
- Consents for any encumbrances on the property (mortgage, MEMO)
- FormsΝ314Α1 (Duly completed and signed) (duly completed and signed)
- Photocopy of both sides of the applicant’s identity card or passport or ARC (for foreigner applicants)
- Reference of applicant’s postal address and contact telephone number(s)
- If the application is submitted by a Proxy, either through a General Power of Attorney (fee of €50.00 for depositing the General PoA) or through a Special Power of Attorney (no fee), the Power of Attorney must be placed in the special box outside the building of the District Lands Office. The Power of Attorney must be duly stamped and the signature thereon certified.
