PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT SECTION

The Personnel Section deals with all matters concerning the personnel of the Department. It ensures the improvement of working conditions in the Department, examines and reconciles any disputes between members of the personnel, and investigates any complaints made. It is also responsible for the formation of the Advisory Committees regarding appointments and promotions, and coordinates, organises, supervises and promotes all their work. Furthermore, it monitors, through to the final stage, the process of filling vacant positions in the Department.

Additionally, this Section deals with the increases in personnel salaries, staff leave, the convening of medical board meetings -in certain cases-, requests for advances for the purchase of cars, the provision of educational grants, the issue of certificates of service, the provision of scholarships, staff pensions, transfers and relocations.
