This Section is responsible for preparing reports and responding to any observations made by the General Auditor of the Republic, the Commissioner for Administration and the Commissioner for Internal Audit. In cooperation with the Department's Accounting Office and the Accounting Office of the Ministry of Interior, the Section has the responsibility of supervising the overtime work of the personnel, controlling the funds required, and monitoring the work carried out during the afternoon. It also coordinates the target setting process and performance indicators, always in reference to the strategic plan of the Department and of the Ministry of Interior. This Section, in cooperation with the Administration, prepares statistics on incoming, processed and pending work, which are sent to everyone for feedback purposes and for the taking of potential corrective actions to improve performance.
