Within the framework of the 18th Land Development, Design, and Construction Conference & Exhibition, organized by IMH, on 27.03.2024, at the Hilton Hotel in Nicosia, the Minister of the Interior, Mr. Constantinos Ioannou, presented the latest developments in the property market, as well as the new system of permits and the priorities of the Government.
The Department of Lands and Surveys was represented in a roundtable discussion. The subject of the discussion was, “What the new system for the issuing of permits and title deeds means for professionals in the sector”.
During the discussion, the Department's views were expressed regarding the new procedure for issuing title deeds within 3 months for developments, as well as, how the new system for the issuing of permits and title deeds will benefit the construction industry.
