VALUATIONS FOR THE DETERMINATION OF TRANSFER FEES
The Valuation Branch is responsible for the determination of the market value and the collection of transfer fees, pursuant to the provisions of Law 81/70. During 2021, it assessed the market value of 9,471 cases, concerning 10,846 plots, having a total declared value of €2,886,040,408.95 which was revised to €3,178,516,357.84.
The assessment characteristics of each property are recorded at the District Land Offices (according to the relevant circular) at the time of transfer/sale, so that sales can be analysed chronologically using the correct qualitative and quantitative characteristics.
The results of the statistical analysis of sales are necessary to determine the valuation parameters, which will be used by the valuation models to value the properties, either collectively or individually.
