The Planning, Study and Information Section is responsible for the planning and coordination of the land consolidation projects, the necessary study preparation, raising awareness regarding the land consolidation. Moreover, it is responsible for the consolidation/reallocation, the Administration support in matters of the Land Consolidation Legislation, the budgets and all money collections/payments related to the Land Consolidation Branch and for dealing with various issues raised by the owners of plots located in land consolidation areas.

The District Land Consolidation Sections situated at the District Land Offices (DLO) are responsible for the implementation of the land consolidation projects at district level and the service of the public.

The Land Consolidation Section, implementing the relevant decision of the Council of Ministers, has given top priority to the completion of land consolidation projects in six areas (Lybia, Salamiou, Akrotiri/2, Choirokoitia, Orounda/2, Astromeritis). It will then focus on completing the land consolidation procedures in five other areas (Athienou/2, Avgorou/1, Avgorou/2, Kato Koutrafas and Polemi), at which point it will be in a position to plan the implementation of other projects.
