The Branch, having a close cooperation with the Department of Information Technology Services, is technically supported by a team of the DITS, which is based in the Department. The aim is to continue this effort and to strengthen cooperation through further consolidation of both processes and human resources in terms of expertise. An additional goal is to create a flexible and dynamic team, through the participation of both Departments, as a result of the many challenges arising from the planned upgrade.

The Head of the Branch, acts as the link between the DITS and the needs of all Branches of the Department and of other external Departments and Services, and is designated as the General Coordinator on IT issues, in view of the decentralization of IT services to the Departments of the Ministry of Interior.

The Technical Support Section of the DITS has its own internal structure. The Section, which has Secondary Support responsibilities, has officers responsible for managing databases, others who support the existing applications, others who deal with new web products and others who ensure and undertake the great task of upgrading the Land Information System, in cooperation with the LIS Administration and Support Branch.
