ADMINISTRATION

The Administration Sector acts as a coordinator for all the administration issues of both the Department's Sectors and all the District Land Offices. It promotes the cooperation and efficient running of the offices within the Department and assists the Director in matters of management, control, coordination, reorganization and restructuring. It maintains a fully up-to-date and automated personnel file system, with all data of interest to the Department.

The Administration Sector manages the Total Quality System of the Department and addresses the issues relating to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard. This certification constitutes a recognition that the Department of Lands and Surveys is capable of operating according to recorded procedures and to apply the relevant legal and regulatory requirements relating to its services, in order to meet the requirements of both the Department and the citizens. Emphasis on quality is expected to contribute to a more efficient running of the Department, to the establishment of a new customer-centric culture, to the improvement of the level of services offered and to the increase of the level of customer satisfaction.

As a part of its continuous improvement efforts, the Department, carried out a self-evaluation, in cooperation with the Cyprus Academy of Public Administration and external partners from the Greek Government, using the tool of the "Common Assessment Framework", so as to improve its performance and quality of service provided to the citizens.
