COMPULSORY ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY OWNED BY ANOTHER PERSON OTHER THAN THE OWNER

Who it concerns:
Where on any land there are trees, vines, buildings or other erections or structures belonging to a person other than the owner of the land, or if within the limits of any immovable property there is a well or a small plot of land on which there is a well, or any other small plot of land, including ditches or reservoirs for the transportation or storage of water belonging to a person other than the owner of the property (land) and it is found impossible by the Director to make a re-adjustment, the owner of such land may apply for the acquisition thereof.
Required Documents / Conditions / Samples:
  • Application Form
  • Affidavit made before the Registrar (stating the purpose, manner and time of service) with the supporting documents (N262A, advices of receipt from post, N128A, Certificate issued and signed by the President of the Community in the boundaries of which the property is situated)
  • Form Ν.262A
  • Double registered postal forms
  • In the case of an owner who resides permanently abroad, the following documents should be submitted:
    Posting form Ν128Α accompanied by a Certificate issued and signed by the President of the Community in the boundaries of which the property is situated, which states that the owner resides permanently abroad.
  • Photocopy of both sides of the applicant’s identity card or passport or ARC (for foreigner applicants)
  • Reference of applicant’s postal address and contact telephone number(s)
  • Σε περίπτωση που η αίτηση υποβληθεί από Πληρεξούσιο Αντιπρόσωπο είτε με Γενικό Πληρεξούσιο με χρέωση €50,00 για την κατάθεση, είτε με Ειδικό Πληρεξούσιο χωρίς καμία χρέωση, τότε η υπογραφή στο έγγραφο θα πρέπει να είναι δεόντως πιστοποιημένη. Η χαρτοσήμανση του πληρεξουσίου είναι απαραίτητη μόνο στην περίπτωση που αυτό έχει υπογραφεί έστω από έναν πληρεξουσιοδότη πριν από την 1.1.2026.
